Kimberley Lichty

Mixed Media Artist

I'm Kimberley Lichty, also known as Sassy Artist Kimberley. I acquired the name Sassy (at an early age) from my dear old dad, Donald Hawk. My mother, Janet Hawk, introduced me to the arts at an early age, inspiring me to become a visual artist. Spending a number of years working with all variations of mediums. Mixed-Media painting is where I fell in love and landed in creating today. Please join me in my journey and support local artists like myself.

Creating Art Inspired by Positive Mental Health

My artwork isn't just a form of expression, it's a platform for advocacy. I create pieces inspired by positive mental health using a variety of mediums and materials that speak to creativity in a positive mindset. I donate 10% of all profits from each piece sold to Suicide Awareness.

Strike the Stigma

In May of 2023, my art style and focus changed dramatically. Our family suffered the loss of our only son, Wesley, to suicide. Wesley suffered from depression for over a decade prior to his death.

My artwork is not just a form of expression, but also a platform for advocacy. Today, I create pieces inspired by positive mental health, including captivating doorways, abstracts, and wired tree art collections.

Each piece I sell within my collection is a testament to my commitment, as I choose to donate 10% profits to local and national chapters of Suicide Awareness, and abroad.

Together, we'll end suicide.
